About the role
Our shops showcase high-quality products across a range of categories, including clothing, luggage, books and magazines as well as stationary, homeware and accessories. We proudly design and create Monocle-branded products as well as collaborations with other brands that we admire.
The manager of our London shop leads a small team and is responsible for providing the very best experience for our discerning customers.
You will be tasked with delivering sustainable sales growth through effective merchandising, stock management, marketing and promotional activity, and an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of our product range. The role will also see you involved in the summer and Christmas markets, pop-ups and other projects.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Three years or more of retail-management experience
- Experience in hiring, training and developing teams
- A sense of ownership and accountability for delivering our retail proposition
- Confidence working with tools, data and stock management and retail systems
